The Quantum Elite leaderboard ranks every trader on the platform by the total profit their automated engine has generated. You can toggle between Real mode rankings — backed by on-chain trade data — and Demo mode rankings, which reflect simulated competition performance. Rankings update live as trades close, so the standings you see always reflect the latest results.Documentation Index

Switching between Real and Demo rankings
Two buttons at the top of the leaderboard let you switch views:- Real Mode — displays traders ranked by profit generated from live on-chain trades. These are actual gains recorded against real deposited funds.
- Demo Mode — displays traders ranked by profit in simulated trading sessions. No real funds are involved. Use this view to see how you compare in a competition-style environment.
Switching modes reloads the leaderboard from the database and sets up a new real-time subscription for that mode. The podium and full list both update to match your selected view.
The podium: top 3 traders
The three highest-ranked traders are displayed prominently on a podium at the top of the page:Rank 1 — Global Champion
Displayed in the centre position with a gold trophy badge. Shows username, avatar, total profit, and the trader’s rank badge based on trade volume.
Rank 2 — Silver
Displayed on the left with a silver medal badge. Shows username, avatar, and total profit.
Rank 3 — Bronze
Displayed on the right with a bronze medal badge. Shows username, avatar, and total profit.
Full leaderboard list
Below the podium, the full leaderboard lists traders ranked 4 and beyond. Each row shows:- Rank number — position in the current mode’s standings
- Avatar — the trader’s profile image
- Username — the trader’s display name
- Rank badge — a coloured label based on cumulative trade volume (see table below)
- Total Balance — the trader’s current account balance
- Total Profit — the total profit earned, displayed in green
Rank badges
Every trader earns a rank badge based on their cumulative trade volume across all sessions. Badges are assigned automatically as your volume grows:| Badge | Minimum trade volume | Colour |

Rank badges reflect trade volume, not profit. A trader with a high volume badge may rank lower on the leaderboard if their profit is smaller than a trader with fewer but more profitable trades.

Real-time updates
The leaderboard subscribes to live database changes the moment you open the page. When any trader’s profit updates — because a trade closes — the leaderboard re-fetches and re-renders automatically. You do not need to refresh manually.How is ranking determined?

Traders are ranked by
total_profit in descending order. The trader with the highest cumulative profit sits at rank 1. The ranking is recalculated live whenever a trade closes and updates the database.Can I appear on both the Real and Demo leaderboards?

Yes. Your position on each leaderboard is tracked separately. Running Real mode trades updates your Real mode ranking; Demo mode sessions update your Demo mode ranking.
Do Demo mode rankings carry any monetary value?
Do Demo mode rankings carry any monetary value?
No. Demo mode uses simulated funds only. Rankings in Demo mode are competition-style and have no effect on your real balance or on-chain activity.

Your rank badge updates automatically as your cumulative trade volume crosses each threshold. There is no manual action required — Quantum tracks your volume across all sessions and applies the correct badge whenever your profile is displayed.
