# Trade History: Review, Expand, and Analyse Trades

> Review completed trades in the Trading tab, expand any row for full entry and exit detail, and access extended real-mode history in your Wallet activity feed.

Every trade the Quantum engine completes is recorded and immediately available in the **Recent Trades** section of the Trading tab. You can review up to 20 completed trades at a glance, click any row to expand it for deeper detail, and use the refresh button to force a resync if your data appears stale. Real mode trade history is also surfaced in the Wallet tab under **Recent Activity**, where up to 100 trades are queryable.

## Where to find trade history

Navigate to the **Trading** tab. Scroll down past the active trade panel to the **Recent Trades** section. The table loads your most recent 20 trades automatically when the page opens.

<Note>
  Only completed trades appear in Recent Trades. Active (open) trades are shown in the live trade monitor above this section.
</Note>

## Table columns

Each row in the Recent Trades table shows seven columns:

| Column | Description |
| - | - |
| **Pair** | The trading pair, e.g. `BTC/USDT` |
| **Type** | Direction of the trade — `LONG` (expecting price to rise) or `SHORT` (expecting price to fall) |
| **Strategy** | The AI strategy used: `Aggressive`, `Momentum`, `Scalping`, or `Conservative` |
| **Amount** | Trade size in USD (calculated from lot size × 1000) |
| **Result** | Profit or loss in USD — green for gains, red for losses |
| **Time** | How long the trade was open (duration) |
| **Status** | `WIN` if the trade was profitable, `LOSS` if it was not |

## Expanding a trade row

Click any row to expand it and reveal full execution detail. The expanded panel shows eight data points:

<CardGroup cols={2}>

  </Card>

  <Card title="Opened At" icon="calendar">

  </Card>
</CardGroup>

Click the same row again to collapse the detail panel.

## Refreshing trade data

A refresh button (circular arrow icon) appears in the top-right corner of the Recent Trades section. Clicking it reloads the page and forces Quantum to resync all trade data from the database. Use this if a trade you know completed is not yet showing in the list.

## Viewing real mode history in the Wallet tab

If you are trading in Real mode, your completed trades are also visible under the **Wallet** tab → **Recent Activity** section. This view queries up to 100 trades, making it useful for longer-term performance review. The same fields are available there, and the data reflects on-chain activity only — demo trades do not appear in Wallet history.

<Tip>
  Use trade history to compare strategies head-to-head. Filter by pair and check which strategy — Aggressive, Momentum, Scalping, or Conservative — produces the best win rate and highest average PnL for that asset. Then set that combination as your default before your next session.

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="How many trades are shown in Recent Trades?">
    The Recent Trades table displays your 20 most recent completed trades. To see more, open the **Wallet** tab, where up to 100 real mode trades are available in the Recent Activity section.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Why is my latest trade not appearing?">
    Click the refresh button in the Recent Trades header to force a resync. If the trade still does not appear, wait a few seconds — there may be a brief delay between trade closure and database write.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What does a negative PnL mean?">
    A negative `pnl` value means the trade closed at a loss. The Status column shows `LOSS` and the Result column displays the amount in red. Quantum's AI strategies aim to minimise losses, but no strategy guarantees profit on every trade.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I export my trade history?">
    Export functionality is not available in the current version of the platform. You can copy individual trade data from the expanded row view for your own records.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Is trade history available for demo mode?">
    Yes. Demo mode trades appear in the Recent Trades table in the Trading tab, labelled with `mode_type: demo` in the expanded detail. They do not appear in the Wallet tab's Recent Activity section, which is reserved for real mode trades only.
