# Connect Your Wallet to Start Trading on Quantum

> Learn how Web3Auth creates a non-custodial BNB Chain wallet when you sign in with Google or another provider — no seed phrase or browser extension needed.

Quantum Finance uses [Web3Auth](https://web3auth.io) to create a non-custodial wallet for you at sign-in — no seed phrase to write down, no browser extension to install. When you authenticate with Google or another social provider, Web3Auth derives a private key that only you can access. Your wallet lives on BNB Chain and is permanently linked to your account.

## Before you start

You need a Google account (or another supported social login) and a modern web browser. No prior wallet setup is required.

## Connect your wallet

    Navigate to the Quantum Finance app in your browser. You will see the landing screen with a **Launch Terminal** button.

    Click **Launch Terminal**. The Web3Auth authentication modal opens in a popup window.

  <Step title="Choose your login method">
    Select **Continue with Google** or any other listed provider (Apple, Facebook, or email magic link). Complete the standard sign-in flow for that provider.

    <Tip>
      If you already use a browser wallet such as MetaMask, you can connect it directly through the "External Wallet" option in the modal instead of using a social login.

  <Step title="Wallet assigned automatically">
    After authentication succeeds, Web3Auth derives your BNB Chain wallet address. No extra steps are needed — you are logged in and your wallet is ready.

## Find your wallet address

After connecting, your wallet address is visible in two places:

* **Wallet tab** — shown in the header card in a shortened `0x1234...5678` format, with a one-click copy button and a QR code option.
* **Settings / profile** — your full address is displayed alongside your avatar.

  Your wallet address is your on-chain identity. Share it when you want to receive BNB or tokens. Quantum Finance never has custody of your private key.

## Demo mode for new users

<Note>
  First-time users are automatically placed in **Demo mode** with a simulated balance of **\$10,000**. You can explore every feature — trading, swaps, sends — without real funds. Switch to Real mode from the Trading or Wallet tab whenever you are ready.

## Supported login methods

    Sign in with Google, Apple, or Facebook. Web3Auth derives a deterministic wallet from your social account. The same social login always produces the same wallet address.

    Enter your email address and click the link sent to your inbox. No password required.

    Connect an existing wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect-compatible wallets) directly. Your existing wallet address is used as-is.
